Immigration Justice

We meet every other Thursday on Zoom from 7-8pm

LA Forward’s Immigration Justice working group advocates for an end to the violence and terror that the deportation system inflicts on our neighbors and communities. We are focused on identifying and filling gaps in LA’s support for impacted communities via solutions that are immigrant-centered. Our goal is not to replicate the valuable work that is already being done by various local organizations, many of which have deep roots in immigrant communities, but rather to uplift, support, and supplement these organizations’ efforts.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2025, our goal is to raise 80% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
