Join us for the fourth gathering of LA Forward’s salon series exploring why local government is broken and how we can fix it. We will dig into the deep structural problems that keep Los Angeles from working like it should.

This salon will focus on the public safety and police accountability. Joining us will be several amazing experts and organizers.

This is a place for learning and having conversations about issues where we might not all agree with each other. Future salons will focus on other major challenges facing Los Angeles.

This event will be hosted at a member’s home on Saturday, September 26, 2-4pm. Please sign up below and you’ll receive the address before the event.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2026, our goal is to raise 60% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
