Housing Book Discussion - Race for Profit: How Banks and the Real Estate Industry Undermined Black Homeownership

  • Los Angeles, CA 90026 (map)

For January’s housing discussion, we are reading Race for Profit: How Banks and the Real Estate Industry Undermined Black Homeownership. by Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor. It’s a good counterpoint to our first book, The Color of Law, as it tackles “predatory inclusion” which had devastating consequences as the replacement for mid-century redlining.

We’ll be at Ben’s home in Echo Park again.
