LA Forward Action, along with Hang Out Do Good and Momtivist invite you to a New Year’s Climate Action Fair
Are you worried about climate change but not quite sure how to help? Maybe you’ve changed some of your personal behaviors but know that’s not enough to make a difference? Or do you just need to entertain your kids for a couple of hours?
Either way, join us for entertainment, games, food, kids’ activities, and most importantly, the kickoff of LA Forward’s New Year’s Resolution Climate Action Guide!
Our climate action fair will feature special guests from many local organizations working to fight climate change from every angle, including ACT LA, Sierra Club, Field Team Six, Sunrise Movement, STAND LA, and more.
There will be multiple opportunities to learn about what you can do to make a difference for our climate by taking action here in Los Angeles – and you can do it by playing games, winning prizes, and hanging out with fun people.
You’ll also get a chance to learn about and participate in our brand new Climate Guide.
The guide will feature 12 pairs of actions, one for each month of 2020. We are challenging people for a new year’s resolution this year, to commit to one political and one personal action each month to help fight climate change.
Bring your friends, bring your kids, bring that guy or girl you’ve meaning to ask out! The more the merrier.
Entry is free for all, but if you'd like to help support this event and future LA Forward Action on climate please consider making a donation.
