Win Immigrant Protections at LA City and County

Recommendations for the LA City and County budgets will have dropped by 4/23, and we know our budgets are statements of our values! In LA, we value the dignity of our immigrant neighbors, and we need Angelenos organized to make sure both City and County governments fund necessary legal services for immigrants.

Join LA Forward Institute and the Represent LA coalition as we spotlight these key budget asks, and actions YOU can take to help! Additionally, the LA City Council has an opportunity to strengthen its commitment to immigrants' right to recieving legal counsel as well. At this teach-in, we'll make sure you're prepped to advocate for all of this and more. RSVP here and spread the word.

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2026, our goal is to raise 60% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
