Some of LA's governing rules and structures are broken, and we have a critical opportunity this week to fix them! LA City's Charter (the city's constitution) has been undergoing a years-long reform process — and at every step, more potential reforms are being cut or delayed. In the next few days, the Rules Committee (just 5 councilmembers) will decide which reforms advance to the full City Council for consideration next week.
