YES on 50: Text Your Friends for Democracy

Want to help defend democracy? Passing Prop 50 will cancel out the congressional seats Trump and Texas Republicans are trying to steal. The most powerful way to get out the vote is by you making sure your friends and family cast their ballots in November. That’s what relational organizing is all about, and we’re making it simple (and fun).

We’ll be using a special app that gives you everything you need—scripts, talking points, and built-in texting tools—so you can reach out to your people with just a few taps.

We’ll kick things off with a Prop 50 overview, a short training to walk you through the app, and answer any questions. Then we’ll text together in real time, celebrate our progress, and build momentum to ensure California votes YES on Prop 50!

A majority of our budget comes from our members’ monthly donations. In 2025, our goal is to raise 80% of our budget from dues-paying members. That will enable us to be 100% accountable to people like you. Your gift allows us to respond rapidly to emerging issues, to take on powerful interests, and spend as little time possible on fundraising so we can focus on the crucial work that needs to get done every day.
